The Vibrators show at Safari Sam's ruled and the Booker's were very
happy with White Trash Debutantes performance.. We had a very special
Guest Star sing with us that night none other than Ms. JOSIE COTTON
who
made 'JOHNNY ARE YOU QUEER" a huge hit and the star of "Valley Girl"
As you know I appear in her "Maneaters Get Off The Road" Video.
Another one of the Video's stars Tequila Mockingbird joined Josie in
singing "**** Off" with the Debutantes..Josie told me she played a
party for the opening of "Jack Ass 2" at Safari Sam's.. Apparently
Johnny Knoxville is a huge Josie fan.. I guess that is why he
included "Johnny Are You Queer" on the soundtrack of the Movie.
We would also like to welcome all the new members and hope the White
Trash Debutantes Yahoo Club grows..
WTD will be heading up north in October to play. On October 12-@
the old Mabuhay Gardens at 443 Broadway to help celebrate Bob Clic
of The Lewd - (October 17), Pauli Gray -WTD (October 13th and Ginger
Coyote - WTD-(October 18) ..Playing that night will be The Lewd,
White Trash Debutantes, House Of Wheels (featuring Paul Casteel) and
Turbonegra. They are an all Woman Turbonegro Tribute Band with Erica
Liss ex MDC playing bass, Shelly of Girl Band on Guitar and Sally of
Fabulous Disaster on Drums..
The next night the band will be playing another new venue The Retox
on 20th street with Bite..Sort of near Bottom Of the Hill A very
busy weekend.. Hope whomever is in the neighborhood can help us
celebrate the new Clubs and our Birthdays...
