And check out this photo of Freaker's Ball Headliner, Ginger Coyote (far right) with The Maneaters, featuring my favorite 80s pop singer, Josie Cotton! Ginger has been working with Josie lately and can't stop telling me what a sweet person she is. Unfortunately, a recording of "Female Trouble" from the John Waters film of the same name probably won't end up on her next CD because of unforeseen legal action from Camp Waters. Damn. If you haven't visited Ginger's , Punk Globe there's another recent photo of Josie and info on her next, long awaited release.
If you have deprived yourself of the Josie Cotton experience...I highly recommend you go out and find her records, CDs or download them from I-tunes if they're on there. As a teenager, I remember having to purchase "Convertible Music" at least 3 times because the record skipped. I'm not sure if it was my crap record player or a flaw in the record pressing, it didn't really matter...I love that record so much and would have been satisfied if one whole side was blank. Go get Josie!
